Central navigated the District 4-5A season unscathed, while Live Oak managed to create some late-season momentum in league play. As a result of their strong district performances, the Lady Wildcats and Eagles claimed the largest share of the spots on the 2018 All-District 4-5A team.

DENHAM SPRINGS -- Zachary overcame a season-high seven errors to edge Denham Springs High in a wild 6-5 thriller on Thursday.
ZACHARY -- Ashley Lopez and Carsyn Martel came through with clutch two-run doubles in consecutive innings to help Zachary rally past U-High for a 7-3 victory on Tuesday.
ZACHARY -- There are a lot of reasons why Zachary has climbed to the top of the Class 5A rankings this season. When the Broncos put all of those reasons together like they did Thursday against Walker, it makes for the kind of outcome the teams reached.
WATSON -- Zachary used a series of clutch plays late and sound pitching to defeat Live Oak 6-2 on Thursday. The Broncos scored four runs in the final 2 innings to pull away in a tight contest that both sides considered to be a good dress rehearsal for a playoff game.
WATSON -- Thursday was Senior Night for Live Oak and it was the seniors being honored that powered the Eagles to a 12-2 victory over Zachary.
ZACHARY -- Five batters collected two or more hits and Rhett Hebert drove in three runs as Zachary pelted Central pitching for 14 hits on the way to a 10-3 triumph Tuesday.
