Walker's summer baseball team went 1-4 over the weekend, including a 1-3 mark in tournament play.

The Cage 6, Walker 3

The Cage used a six-run 1st inning to spark the win before Walker picked up its runs in the top of the 6th on Sunday.

Cameron Crow and Kevin Veguilla collected the only hits for the Wildcats.

Gavin Adams gave up four hits, six runs, three walks and struck out one in an inning to take the loss. Grant Edwards gave up one hit, one walk and struck out one in four innings of relief.

Evangel 5, Walker 2

Evangel snapped a 1-1 tie with a three-run 4th inning.

Veguilla went 2-for-2 with a run to lead Walker, which had five hits.

Cody King gave up seven hits, five runs, two walks and struck out six in six innings to take the loss.

Walker 4, Central 2

Walker rallied rallied from a 2-0 deficit, scoring all of its runs over the final three innings.

Christian Cassels' two-out, two-run double in the 5th inning tied the game at 2-2, and Veguilla scored on an error in the 6th to give the Wildcats the lead.

Camden Carver had an RBI single in the 7th to cap the scoring.

Charlie Pellitier gave up three hits and struck out seven in four innings, combining with Crow and King on a four-hitter.

Seth Richardson went 2-for-3 with a run to lead the Wildcats at the plate.

Central 9, Walker 8

Central got an RBI single following two walks and a single to open the bottom of the 5th inning to get the win.

Walker rallied from an 8-0 deficit with a six-run 4th inning before picking up a pair of runs in the top of the 5th to tie the game at 8-8.

Smith had a three-run single to key the big 4th inning, and Walker took advantage of errors to tie the game in the 5th.

Dutchtown 10, Walker 0

Three Dutchtown pitchers combined to no-hit Walker, which threw four pitchers -- Gavin Adams, Brennan Major, King and Kevin Veguilla.

Dutchtown led 1-0 before scoring nine runs in the final two innings, including a six-run 6th inning.
